Error Code: OW_4XX_OWSWS00001 on HP LJ MFP M234DW

I had to change my router in my house, which lead to a change of WIFI SSID, so I had to setup my printer again. What a nightmare.

I managed to access the printer via direct access and click reset to factory defaults. Then tried to start the setup. It got part of the way through and then failed when trying to register;

Error Code: OW_4XX_OWSWS00001

The printer is already registered, but there is no way to skip this. And round and round and round I go. It's in a loop now.
