HP Officejet 6600 e-All-in-One Printer - H711a/H711g

Printer error- There is a problem with the printer or ink system.  Turn printer off, then on.  If problem persists contact HP.

Tried several variations of above solution.  Turn off/on via power button, Turn off/on via power cord.  Turn off/on after reseating ink cartridges.  Turn off/on after installing new ink cartridges.

Still get same error message.

Are there other procedures to try or is the printer shot?

If you have performed all the steps from this document and still having issues then this could be a hardware issue. 

 

You may also try updating the printer firmware: Click here

 

If you have followed the steps and still having the issue. I would personally suggest this could be a possible hardware failure with the printer. I would recommend you contact our HP support team for further assistance.
