Hi @sallybeaudry,

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

I'd be glad to help you!

I'm sorry you're encountering the error code on your HP OfficeJet 9135e—this type of issue can definitely be frustrating. Let’s work through it together.

  • Have you recently made any changes to the printer settings, such as updates or configuration changes?
  • Is your printer connected via Wi-Fi or USB, and is the connection stable?
  • When did you first notice this error code, and does it appear during specific tasks (like printing or scanning)?

Let's try these steps.

Power Cycle the Printer:

  • Turn off the printer and unplug it from the power source. Wait for about 60 seconds, then plug it back in and turn it on to see if the error clears.

Check for Paper Jams:

  • Open the printer’s paper tray and check for any paper jams or obstructions that could be causing the error. Remove any paper or debris carefully.

Reset Network Settings:

  • If your printer is connected wirelessly, reset the network settings. You can do this via the printer’s Network Settings menu. After resetting, reconnect to the Wi-Fi and check if the error persists.

Update Printer Firmware:

  • Check if there is a firmware update available for your printer. Go to HP Smart or the HP website and download the latest update for your printer model to ensure it's up-to-date.

Contact HP Support:

  • If the error continues after trying the above steps, it could be related to a deeper hardware issue. Contact HP Phone  Support for further assistance.

Hope this helps! Keep me posted for further assistance
