HP ENVY 5020 All-in-One Printer

My printer suddenly stopped doing printer scan from the app on my phone but will accept print jobs from my phone. Ink and paper are fine as are network connections. Eywork connection have been reset and reinitialised as has the router. Suddenly displaying limited functions etc. Yet I just used it 2 days ago yo rin a scan on the printer from my phone and printed a picture 5 minutes ago from my phone. Any help appreciated.  Just annoying as sometimes camera scan isn't appropriate

I understand you are facing an issue Error code EBS00P0010 HP ENVY5020. Not to worry I will help you to get a resolution to resolve the issue.

Let's try resetting the printer and check once

 

1) Take out the cartridges.  -

2) Unplug the power cord from the printer & wall.  

3) Wait for 30 seconds.   

4) Plug the power cord back into the printer and wall, ensure the printer is plugged into the wall & not into a surge protector.  

5) Insert the cartridges back into the printer.

I tried that and it still says not connected on the HP app so can't do a scan and send to my phone. It does still print anything I send it for my phone and comes up as connected in my list of printers along side my instant ink subscription. One box did pop up and say the printer was 'an older model' and some (I'm thinking all) functions are no longer supported. I can't see how much ink I have left or anything. Has my printer been declared old and there for had functionality removed? If so, I'm very disappointed and the printer is in perfect working condition apart from the app connection and ink levels etc. All drivers and apps are up to date.

Hello I am having same issue, please share if we have any workaround.

Error code EBS00P0010 HP Tango.  I have tried multiple different troubleshooting steps and I have still not had any luck getting my device to connect through the HP app.  I can connect it directly to my MacBook via WiFi but that is not how it is suppose to work.  Because of this connection issue I also cannot sign up for Instant Ink.  Please advise how I can proceed because this is getting expensive with purchasing ink.

in my case the problem was with the VPN being enabled on my phone
