Getting this error when trying to install my new printer using HP Smart App: Error code : EOD00P0012

"We're having a technical issue with your HP Smart setup session. We weren't able to resolve the issue and can't finish printer setup right now.
Exit setup and try again later to resolve this issue. If you continue to have issues setting up, contact HP Support .
(Error code : EOD00P0012)"

 

I contacted HP Support and was given a walk around to use the generic driver, but of course now I can't scan.  I've been at this for multiple days now and about to call it quits......

I am running MacOS Ventura, 13.2

Printer has latest firmware.

No issue installing on a Windows OS.

Connecting using USB cable from printer to USB-C directly to my MacBook Pro, which has the Apple M1 Max chip.

 

Any idea's?

Update:

 

I ran the HP Smart Diagnose & Fix and got message stating "Driver Check Issue not fixed"
