HP LaserJet Pro 100 color MFP M175nw
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hello,
Just started my new purchased PC with Windows 10 last week.
Successfully downloaded my printer driver from HP web site (Laser Jet Pro Color MFP175nw).
After completion of software upload I started software installation: when installation reaches ca. 50% completion (as shown on the software progress bar) 2 pop-ups windows are raised with an error message advising that installation was aborted and that restart of the computer was needed.
Same error message and issue occurred even with a "lighter" software also downloaded from the HP web site.
Please could you help me to resolve this issue?
Many thanks for your help.

Here's what you need to do:

  1. Uninstall HP printer software, and then remove the printer from your Devices list.
  2. Restart the PC
  3. Close all programs
  4. download only this complete package: HP LaserJet Pro M175nw Full Solution Software and Driver
    File name: CLJ_MFP_M175_N_sw_win_full_solution-acf_12291.exe (135.1 MB)
  5. Close all programs
  6. Open up the run command with the "Windows Key + R" key combo > in folder Downloads double-click on the CLJ_MFP_M175_N_sw_win_full_solution-acf_12291.exe
  7. The installation was completed successfully, now you must ...
  8. Restart the System again
  9. Now the installation is complete.

Document error messages accurately, even better is to take a screenshot of it and upload here.

Hope this helps! Keep me posted.

Hello,
Sorry for my late response.
Just realized that my printer was not connected anymore to my home wifi.... maybe that was the reason why I couldn't install the printer software on my new PC?? Please confirm.
Then with my old PC Windows 7 I tried to reconnect the printer and apply settings with an ethernet cable as per Gemini02's information and procedure.
That was the procedure I used when I replaced my router one month ago but this doesn't work anymore now...
How should I proceed? Very frustrating...
WPS connection process doesn't work, manual settings of wifi parameters doesn't work as well...
Need help to move on.
Thanks.

No, the software is installed first regardless of the printer connection. Only when the installation asks for the connection!

However, there is a different problem here.
