Everytime a new management program is installed for my OfficeJet Pro 8720, OCR and all settings are gone. Recently HP Smart was installed and all settings were gone and the same settings are not even possible to find anymore. On top of that OCR was lost and I am not able get it back. Should the new management program not be backwards compatible and keep old settings? Or, at least come with a warning that you will loose your settings. Anyone with a similar problem and a possible solution?
