According to potential vulnerability report HPSBPI03917 HP recommends firmware for printer F2A70A / LaserJet Enterprise M506 to be upgraded to FS 5.7.1.1(2507252_046147).
However on the software and drivers page for said product, no such firmware file is available. The highest available version is FS 3.9.12(2309088_001464)
Multiple FutureSmart documentations list this model (HP LaserJet Enterprise M506x) as being compatible with FutureSmart 5. So where can I get the FS 5 firmware for F2A70A to meet the recommended firmware level?
Or is there a mistake or something that I'm misunderstanding here?
- Model number from the web interface and bound to serial number is F2A70A
- F2A70A is listed to be under the potential vulnerability and should be upgraded to FS 5.7.1.1
- FS 5.7.1.1 is not available from the support page for model number F2A70A
- FS 5 should be available for F2A70A / M506x according to FS 5 documentation?

So the information at this FutureSmart compatibility document is inaccurate in stating that HP LaserJet Enterprise M506x is compatible with FutureSmart 5 as well as the linked vulnerability report in suggesting to upgrade the firmware of this model to a version that is not available?
Is it possible to get an updated revision to the linked vulnerability report if this is the case? Our organization has several of these specific printer models and we take vulnerability reports like this seriously, especially ones that are marked as high severity. I need to be able to address the issue to the full extent of manufacturer recommendations.
