Thanks for replying. Are you experiencing the same issue while making a copy as well?

The reset steps mentioned in my previous post will not delete the driver from your computer.

Let's try these steps -

Step 1 HP Print and Scan Doctor -

Click on this link to download and run HP Print and Scan Doctor

If the issue still persists, try step#2.

Step 2 Re-install the printer drivers -

1) In the search box, type and open "Uninstall a Program".
2) Look for HP Printer software.
3) Right-click to uninstall.
4) In the search box, type and open “Devices and printers”.
5) In the Devices and Printers, look for your HP printer. If you see it listed right-click on it and choose “Delete” or “Remove Device”.
6) Open the run command with the "Windows key + R" key combo.
7) Type printui.exe /s and click Ok. (Note: there is a space in between “printui.exe” and “/s”).
8) Click on the "Drivers" tab.
9) Look for HP Printer driver. If you see it Click on it and click “Remove” at the bottom.
10) Select Ok.
11) Select Apply and Ok on the Print Server Properties windows.
12) Close Devices and Printers Once the software and drivers are removed.
13) Restart the computer.
14) Download and install the software and drivers from here.

Greetings and Welcome to the HP Support Community.

Don't worry, I'm here to help! To better assist you - What seems to be the issue with your printer that you are trying to reset it?

HP DeskJet 2130 All-in-One Printer does not require any special button combination to reset.

The following steps should help -

1) Turn off the printer.

2) Unplug the power cord.

3) Wait a minute, and then plug the power cord back in.

4) Turn on the printer.

Hope this helps!

Hi Asmita,

Thanks so much for your reply and assistance offered!

I mistakenly adjusted some layout settings, trying to help my wife print a blowup of an image.

Now all images are cut off on right side & base when they print, so I need to return to factory settings.

My only other alternative is a re-install, which I would rather avoid.

Your proposed solution may reset my printer, however I need to reset the software program settings!

Thanks!

Thanks Asmita,

Uninstalled HP Printer Software from ‘Windows Programs & Features’; a simple 2 step process.

After reboot, reinstalled software from downloaded driver pack & reconnected printer.

No change in graphics printing fault, so must be a Microsoft Office problem.

Thanks so much for helping me narrow the field!

Blessings,

Mark.
