Hello!
I have this printer since many years ago but I hardly ever used it. Now, because of the coronavirus I need to use it. I have just installed all the new ink cartridges but the one of black ink is not working. I have tried all the tutorials and my last option is to reset it completely. How can I do it?
Thank you very much in advance!
Raquel

@Raquelbt77, Welcome to HP Support Community!
I see that you are experiencing print quality issues on the printer and I appreciate your efforts in trying to resolve the issue.
Resetting the printer is not a solution that is recommended for print quality issues.
Also, does the same happen while making photocopies on the printer?
If you have already performed the steps from the document Fixing Print Quality Problems for the HP Photosmart B109 All-in-One Printer Series and the issue persists, it could be a hardware failure.
Please reach out to the HP Support in your region regarding the service options for your printer.
Hope this helps!

Thanks TEJ1602!
I managed to reset the printer, then I installed it in another laptop with Windows 10, but the problem was still the same, not able to print in black ink. As it has to be in the hardware, I will replace the printhead.
I will update the message with the result of replacing the printhead.
All the best,
Raquel
