Hi,
I have searched and tried a lot, but haven't found a solution that helped me out. After I got e new router, the printer had to recognize the new. I tried a ton of things on the printer and in the software. I didn't succeed.
When installing the latest driver (after thoroughly de-install the previous one) after 65% or so the message is:
MSIExec command: /i C:\Users\HCM\AppData\Local\Temp\7zS791E\Setup\Core\SIPM_64\HpTcpMon64.msi" /qn
REBOOT=ReallySuppress
Path:
Return code:1612
After a lot of effort I got afraid that I might have messed up things in Windows, I couldn't install the printer at all. I did try to go to an earlier point in Windows. The printer worked after that, but still the new wireless network wasn't recognized.
BTW The only solution someone had was reinstalling Windows, I sure hope that's not the only way to solve my problem.
Please help.

Hi Sandy,
Your help is very welkom. Unforunately your instructions in steps don’t match what happens when I follow them up.
- Click on this link - https://support.hp.com/us-en/contact-hp?openCLC=true
- Select the country.
- Enter the serial of your device.
- Select the country from the drop-down.
- Click on "Show Options".
- Fill the web-form. A case number and phone number will now populate for you.
1, 2 and 3 worked almost as predicted
4: there is not the possibility for chosing a country in this page (see inserted screensjot). Possibly the bottom choice is what you ment (it says: more support options), but the opened list next to that has no choice for a web-form as far as I can establish.
Please help me a little bit more.
Yours truly.

I have brought your issue to the attention of an appropriate team within HP. They will likely request information from you in order to look up your case details or product serial number. Please look for a private message from an identified HP contact. Additionally, keep in mind not to publicly post personal information (serial numbers and case details).
If you are unfamiliar with how the Community's private message capability works, you can learn about that here.
Thank you for visiting the HP Support Community.
Cheers.
