Product: HP Pavilion dv7-6c80us Entertainment Notebook PC
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

My fingerprint scanner is not working after I reset my laptop, was working fine before. "We couldn't find a fingerprint scanner compatible with windows hello fingerprint" message. All my updates are completed, I tried so many ways others posted but nothing is working. Please help, any advice would be appreciated.

Don't worry as I'll be glad to help, 
After reading your post, I did go through the Software drivers page and found no drivers available for Windows 10 or 11 OS for this unit.

You can try this driver: Validity Fingerprint Sensor Driver
