@FabAug, Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
I understand you're experiencing issues printing from your PLC after a firmware update on your HP OfficeJet Pro 9110b, and you'd like to revert to firmware version 6.20.1.15-202311221813.
Important Notes Before Proceeding:
- HP does not officially support firmware downgrades for most printers, especially those with dynamic security features.
- Downgrading firmware may not be possible if the printer has "Downgrade Protection" enabled in the latest firmware.
- Proceeding with unofficial methods may void warranty or cause printer malfunction.
Recommended Steps:
Check for Official Firmware Availability
Visit the official HP support page for your printer model: HP OfficeJet Pro 9110b Drivers & Firmware
- Look under the Firmware section.
- If version 6.20.1.15-202311221813 is listed, download it.
- If only the latest version is available, HP may have removed older versions from public access.
Try Downgrade via HP Printer Update Utility (Windows)
If you have the older firmware .ful2 file:
- Disconnect the printer from the internet (Wi-Fi or Ethernet).
- Connect the printer via USB to your PC.
- Download and run the HP Printer Update Utility.
- Select your printer and choose the older firmware file.
- Follow on-screen instructions.
Alternative Workaround
If downgrade is not possible, consider:
- Rolling back the PLC software/driver to a version compatible with the new firmware.
- Using PCL5 or PostScript drivers if available.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.

Thanks for your answer.
But I don't have the old firmware 6.20.1.15-202311221813. I can't use the HP printer update utility.
I would like to obtain this file for downgrade the printer. The printer is not connected to Internet only with a PLC.
Have you the possibility to send this firmware.
Regards
