Product: HP OfficeJet Pro 8035 All-in-One Printer
Operating System: macOS 12.0 Monterey

Have done restets, used different browsers, tried update from printer, then Mac then IPhone and finally IPad. 
Software never downloads. 
printer routine tries  to regularly auto update and it fails which takes printer offline. 
wifi connectivity is ok as is HP Direct printing from phone 

pretty frustrated esp as I see this as an ongoing HP problem.  

Printer is otherwise fine and 3 yr old.

This appears to be a very common issue at the moment. I have asked the admins of this board to escalate this issue but I have not heard back yet on the status. Any chance you can get into the embedded web server and disable firmware updates
