HP Color Laser MFP 179fnw

Just 2 questions:

First:

Bought the "HP Laser MFP 179fnw" because HP says it supports "Google Cloud Printing". Wow! Happy!

... But ... Where is my Google Cloud Printing? How do I print documents from outside my local network, as the HP documentation says?! Only bought it because HP said it...

Second:

Firmware-Update I downloaded from HP.com:

  • V3.82.01.16 / 15.9 MB / 19. Dez. 2024

    Installed....

Printer says:
V3.82.01.16-2022

Hmmm... Why from 2022 even HP says "Released on 19.12.2024"?!

Confused...

The released date and the actual date on the firmware are rarely in sync. Have never received an adequate explanation, my guess it has something to do with the original target date for release. That is one of the wider chasms I have seen.
