Hi,
I have to purchase new cartridges for my printer MFP M180nw and would like to know how to downgrade the firmware to make it work with the new cartridges, since on the seller website it said that we must have the firmware at a version before 20221021 and mine is already at 20230822.
I also want to know how to stop automatic updates.

Hi, 

 

I have the same problem and it looks like there is no solution to do it especially when the printer does not have LCD or USB port. There is no known way how to enable firmware downgrade. 

Im very dissapointed how HP behaves and I will rather sell the printer and buy new one from different brand.
