I have desperately been trying to update the firmware for my printer without success. I have tried every method available and have tried all of the diagnostic tools. I have also received an email from instant ink warning me that unless
I update the firmware, they will cancel my subscription. This is really, really frustrating as I'm trying! My printer goes off quite quickly but once I power it back on, it prints perfectly. I have uninstalled and reinstalled the drivers (on may occasions) It will not update. It is till running firmware version CUP1FN1522BR. I have tried calling the helpline but nobody answers and I've trawled the net looking for answers, all to no avail. Is there anyone that can help me please? If I update via the printer, I get a message saying "unsuccessful" but if I update via the PC, I get code 0X83C0002B.

I have a very similar issue on the HP deskjet 3630. I'm waiting for phone support to call.....
I received an email advising that I need to update my firmware otherwise I will lose ability to print after 14/11/2020. On the website I can download the new firmware (SWP1FN1742AR) however when it comes to selecting my printer it will not let me (Status : Not applicable). when I access my printer from the HP smart app it advises that the firmware is up to date (SWP1FN1742AR : Build date 2017-10-16) When I 'check now' for new updates it also states that it is up to date. (I also have the 'install updates automatically' ticked under printer options)

I tried the link and sadly it seems that no support is available. I am constantly receiving emails telling me to update the firmware otherwise my instant ink service will be suspended and I will not be able to continue to use the ink in my printer! This is incredibly frustrating as I've tried everything and have spent hour searching for a solution. I have connected via a cable too, this didn't work either. I really don't know what else I can do. Is there an email address I can use? Surely someone, somewhere must have a solution? Thank you

I contacted support as requested. I spent an hour on the phone and in the end she said sorry, but she was unable to help me. My instant ink account will be terminated on 14th November because no matter what I do or try, I am unable to update the firmware. This seems really unfair as the ink I have will also stop working through no fault of my own. I don't want to buy another printer as mine works perfectly! Is there anyone who has found a solution? I would be so grateful for some help as this is beyond frustrating and incredibly unfair to be penalised for something I cannot help. Thank you
