"Top Bar" just refers to the field at the top of your screen where the website addresses go.

You are so correct! Even to suggest deleting and reinstalling the software on your PC and / or Mac is silly when these are standalone networked printers. I can have all other devices on my network turned off and the printer should still operate normally.
