Officejet 6700 Premium
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hello,

if someone knows how to downgrade the latest Firmwareupdate for HP Officejet 6700 Premium.

After installing the Firmware

HP Officejet 6600/6700  Firmware-Update 1827D 24.6 MB

from the HP Support site, my Printer is no more recognizing his Print heads.

I always use original PrinterInk.

Could this be a kind of political issue to bring people to buy a new one?

Now, after ruining my printer with the latestes Firmware, I will try to downgrade but there is no chance to get an older Version (maybe the Original-One).

You can help me in sending me a link.

Hi @DIGE0904

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

We can restore the printer to defaults by performing a reset

  • The reset instructions are specific for your printer and performing those steps on a different printer may corrupt the device.
  • I've sent you a private message with reset instructions, follow the reset instruction to perform a full reset and re-initialize the printer.
  • In order to access your private messages, click the private message icon on the upper right corner of your HP Forums profile, next to your profile Name or simply click on this link: https://h30434.www3.hp.com/t5/notes/privatenotespage

Hope this helps! Keep me posted.
