Product: HP DeskJet Ink Advantage 2875 All-in-One Printer

I can't figure out how to stop the Resume button from flashing every time I have more than one page to print. Meaning, each time I send a document to print,  the printer pulls a page, but then I have to press the flashing Resume button for it to continue the job. I have a MacBook Air.

Sometimes this is related to printer cartridges, when the ink is dry and you need to clean.
