HP LaserJet Pro MFP M428fdw

I've been getting this error and I can't seem to correct it:

For greater security, the authentication session is locked. Try again later.

Anyone know of a solution short of the dumpster?

Thank you

Okay - I figured this out on my own.

I have several different models of HP lasers & inkjets at my business, and this worked on all of them - give it a try.

On the display screen in the black border area where you might have a back arrow, a home icon and a question mark,

take your finger and press the black screen in the upper left corner several times, don't press any of icons or touch into the bright screen.  Eventually a screen will appear "Support Menu" press the arrow next to it and a new menu will appear.

Use the up & down arrows to scroll through until you see "Resets Menu" from there you can reset the entire printer to factory settings.  You will see other options in there as well to change other settings. This will also clear the administrator password - which is what I was looking for.  It worked for me on all my HP printers, hopefully it works for you. Good luck!
