Hello. This quiestion has been asked again, some people selected "me too" but I saw no responses and the thread is locked. So here goes.
I setup the HP AIO 790 on the dekstop system, usb connection, everything OK.
I then setup the AIO 790 on our laptop wirelessly. The setup finished, but there is the message "The HP software is setting up your printer..." stuck on the fron panel.
What do I do? Turning it off and on again didn't help. The AIO 790 does seem to work fine, printing, scanning, receiving faxes, but I have no control on the front panel. Also I guess if I want to send a fax, this function is through the front panel? I mean where do you type the phone number? So there is one operation that is rendered useless. And I have a new router that I want to install and then connect the AIO 790 on it. How do I do that without a from panel? And how do I make a document copy without a panel? So this needs to go away.
Please advise.
Thanks.

Hi,
Please open the HP Smart application on your PC and click on Printer Settings, then click on Advanced Settings.
Open the Tools tab and then within the HP Printer Toolbox select to Align the Printheads, then follow the steps both on the computer screen and printer screen to complete the Alignment, once the alignment completes the message should no longer appear.
