Hi I need some advice regarding my printer.
I have the HP Deskjet 2722e All-in-One Printer and I want to print some image in Word and I wish to do full bleed printing. I followed this guide: https://blog.innov8.ca/how-to-do-full-bleed-printing-using-word
I first clicked layout->margins->custom margins in Word and then changed all the margins to zero.
But when I tried printing out the page it still looked like it had margins and didn't print the whole picture. I read in the guide that some printers aren't capable of printing to the edge of the page since the machinery needs a small amount of space to help feed the paper through the paper path.
Can someone tell me if my printer is capable of printing to the edge please?
Thanks,
//Pernille

Welcome to the HP Community Forum.
Unfortunately,
This DeskJet series does not support Borderless printing.
The margin along the lower edge is also larger than the other margins.
This is a printer hardware limitation - there is no "software workaround".
Borderless Printing | No |
Print Margin Bottom (A4) | 12.7 mm |
Print Margin Left (A4) | 3 mm |
Print Margin Right (A4) | 3 mm |
Print Margin Top (A4) | 3 mm |

Hi Dragon-Fur thank you SO much for the quick answer! Oh, that's a bummer. I want to print borderless on an A5 format, and I read that some people went around that problem by printing the picture on an A4 and then used a paper cutting machine to get the desired A5 result. A bit more work, but a good solution for now I think.
Thanks again! 🙂

You are welcome.
Decent paper cutter >> In my opinion, everyone should have one of these clever devices anyway. Smiling.
Yes - choice between a good quality paper cutter or a more expensive printer that includes the extra options.
As you say - "Works".
Happy Printing and Paper Cutting.
