What is the role/function of "Full Webpack 116?  When I opened it on my desktop computer it, "extracted" emails from both the "in" box and "out" box.  How do I recover them back into my Outlook?

Hi @E-H-L,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

"Full Webpack 116" seems to be a tool related to managing or extracting email data, possibly from an email client like Outlook. Its specific functions can vary depending on the software and context, but it typically involves extracting, converting, or managing email data.

Recovery of Extracted Emails to Outlook

Here’s how you can try to recover your emails back into Outlook:

Locate the Extracted Files:

  • Check where Full Webpack 116 saved the extracted emails. Common formats may include .eml, .msg, or .pst.

Importing into Outlook:

  • If the files are in a format compatible with Outlook (like .pst), you can import them directly:
    • Open Outlook.
    • Go to File > Open & Export > Import/Export.
    • Select Import from another program or file, then click Next.
    • Choose the appropriate file type and follow the prompts to import.

Drag and Drop (for .eml/.msg files):

  • If the extracted emails are in .eml or .msg format, you can try dragging and dropping them into an Outlook folder directly. Open the folder where the emails are located and drag them into your Outlook.

Using a Conversion Tool:

  • If the files are in a less common format, you may need to use a third-party tool to convert them to a format that Outlook recognizes.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
