Hi @JEMIUS,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

It sounds like you're encountering an issue while trying to finalize your subscription to HP Instant Ink with your HP Officejet 5230. Here are a few steps you can try to troubleshoot this problem.

  • Check Internet Connection: Ensure that your printer is connected to the internet properly. A stable internet connection is necessary for finalizing the subscription.
  • Restart Printer: Sometimes, a simple restart can resolve technical glitches. Turn off your printer, wait for a minute, and then turn it back on.
  • Update Printer Firmware: Make sure that your printer's firmware is up to date. Sometimes, outdated firmware can cause compatibility issues. You can usually update the firmware through the printer's settings menu or by visiting the HP support website.
  • Clear Cache and Cookies: If you're accessing the subscription page through a web browser, try clearing the cache and cookies. Sometimes, corrupted data in the browser can cause issues.
  • Try a Different Browser or Device: If you're accessing the subscription page from a computer, try using a different web browser. Alternatively, you can also try accessing the page from a different device, such as a smartphone or tablet.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
