My new printer has the same issue as the old HP printer.

Windows says a software updated needs to be downloaded. After pressing the button to download this message appears: Install error - 0x800f020b

Run Windows Update Troubleshooter: Use the built-in Windows Update Troubleshooter to identify and fix any issues with the update process. To do this:

  • Press Windows key + I to open Settings.
  • Go to "Update & Security" > "Troubleshoot."
  • Run the "Windows Update" troubleshooter.

Manually Download and Install the Update: Instead of relying on the automatic update, you can visit the HP support website, search for your printer model, and manually download the latest software and drivers. Then, install them on your computer.
