HP OfficeJet Pro 9015 All-in-One Printer

I have an office jet 9010 and it's quit talking to my computer (or vice versa).  What do I do to get them in sync with one another?

Hi @JMDV1,

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query. I will be glad to help you.

I understand your HP OfficeJet Pro 9015 (part of the 9010 series) has stopped communicating with your computer. Here are some steps to help you get them back in sync:

Troubleshooting Steps:

  1. Restart Devices:
    • Power off your printer and computer.
    • Unplug the printer for 30 seconds, then plug it back in and turn it on.

  2. Check Connection Type:
    • Wi-Fi: Ensure the printer is connected to the same Wi-Fi network as your computer. The wireless light should be solid blue.
    • USB: Try a different USB port or cable.

  3. Use HP Smart App:
  4. Reinstall Printer Drivers:
  5. Check Firewall or VPN:
    • Disable any VPN or firewall temporarily to see if it’s blocking the connection.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
