HP psc 2200 printer

I am having a problem with my Printer psc 2200 making a grinding/chattering noise when I turn it on. I am not sure it is related to Windows 10. I am able to correct the problem when I run a diagnostic testing and it prints fine. Does anyone know why this is occurring?

I understand that you are getting Grinding noise with HP psc 2210 printer.

 

Please perform the hard reset and check.

 

  1. Turn the printer on, if it is not already on. 

  2. Wait until the printer is idle and silent before you continue. 

  3. With the printer turned on, disconnect the power cord from the rear of the printer. 

  4. Unplug the power cord from the wall outlet. 

  5. Wait at least 60 seconds. 

  6. Plug the power cord back into the wall outlet. 

  7. Reconnect the power cord to the rear of the printer. 

  8. Turn on the printer, if it does not automatically turn on. 

  9. Wait until the printer is idle and silent before you proceed 

If you have spare ink cartridges replace and check for the issue.

 

If the issue still persists, please contact our phone support and check for support options. They will help you.

2)Select the product type.

 

3)Enter the serial number of your device or select let HP detect your product option.

 

4)Select the country from the drop-down.

 

5)You should see the HP phone support number or Chat option listed.
