Pls. help me soon. I only see wireless setup? How do I set it up to connect directly to my laptop?  a WIRED setup? i don't like the wireless, it's erratic. Wwhat cord do  i need  to connect the printer to my laptop? how do i bypass wireless setup? I need to print school projects soon. Thanks so much for your help.

I'd like to help!

 

You would need a USB cord to connect between the printer and the computer.

 

You may refer to -HP printer setup (USB cable)

With the Easy Start driver or HP Smart (both available at the following link), you can make the USB connection. Pay attention to the installation windows and choose the USB connection option, remember to have the correct and working cable.
