Hello,

My printer is well connected to the wifi. I can see the printer active and can start printing. All our tasks remain in the queue without processing. However, with each print request, the printer prepares itself, but it does nothing and there is no message either on the computer or on the printer itself to help me.

I still have some anchor and that I was able to print the printer status report which mentions that everything is ok.

I can scan and I can copy.

Thanks

Hi @Lila30,

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

I'd be glad to help you!

I'm sorry you're facing this issue—it must be frustrating to have your printer connected and responsive, yet unable to complete print jobs.

Troubleshoot print jobs stuck in the queue with your Windows computer.

Reset the Windows printing environment

  • Stop the print spooler, delete print job files, and then restart the computer and the printer.
  • Turn off the printer, and then unplug the power cord.
  • In Windows, search for and open Services.
  • In the Services window, right-click Print Spooler, and then click Stop.

Stopping the Print Spooler from the Services window

  1. After the Print Spooler stops, close the Services window.
  2. In Windows, open File Explorer.
  3. Browse to C: > Windows > System 32 > spool > PRINTERS.
  4. Delete all files in the PRINTERS folder.
  5. Shut down your computer.
  6. Reconnect the power cord to the printer, and then turn it on.
  7. Turn on the computer.
