Hi @FixmyIssuePls ,
Welcome to The HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
I understand you're encountering an issue with your HP DeskJet 4122e All-In-One Printer, where the lights are blinking and you're seeing an EE error. This issue can be frustrating, but there are a few troubleshooting steps you can try to resolve it:
- Restart the Printer: Sometimes, simply restarting the printer can resolve temporary glitches. Turn off the printer, wait for a few minutes, and then turn it back on.
- Check for Paper Jams: Make sure there are no paper jams or obstructions inside the printer. Even a small piece of paper stuck inside can cause errors.
- Check Ink Cartridges: Ensure that the ink cartridges are properly installed and have enough ink. If any of the cartridges are empty or low on ink, replace them.
- Reset the Printer: Try resetting the printer to its default settings. You can usually find the reset option in the printer's settings menu or refer to the printer's manual for instructions on how to perform a reset.
- Update Printer Firmware: Check if there are any firmware updates available for your printer. Sometimes, updating the firmware can resolve compatibility issues and improve printer performance.
- Check Wireless Connection: If the wireless light isn't coming on, it indicates a problem with the wireless connection. Make sure the printer is within the range of your wireless network and that the wireless settings are configured correctly on the printer.
- Reinstall Printer Drivers: If you're trying to connect to the printer wirelessly from a computer, try reinstalling the printer drivers on your computer. Sometimes, corrupted or outdated drivers can cause communication issues with the printer.
