My Envy 6452e printer will not print in color. I have made sure that the Grayscale option is turned off. The available help on this forum on this subject does not help my issue. I have tried everything with no success.

Hi @Skeeter2112,
Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
It sounds like you’ve been through a lot of troubleshooting already! Here are some additional steps you can take to resolve the color printing issue on your HP Envy 6452e:
Step 1: Check Ink Levels
- Ensure that all color ink cartridges have sufficient ink. Even if one color is low, it may prevent color printing.
Step 2: Check Cartridge Installation
- Remove and reinstall the color cartridges to ensure they are seated properly.
Step 3: Run Print Quality Diagnostics
- Open the HP Smart app or your printer's settings.
- Locate Maintenance Options: Find and run a print quality diagnostic or cleaning cycle. This can help clear any clogs.
Step 4: Update Printer Drivers
- Go to the HP support website and ensure you have the latest drivers installed for your printer.
Step 5: Change Print Settings
- Open the Print Dialog: When you go to print, select the printer and access its properties.
- Check Color Options: Make sure the print settings are set to "Color" and not "Black & White" or "Grayscale."
Step 6: Check Application Settings
- Ensure that the application you are printing from is also set to print in color. Some applications have their own print settings.
Step 7: Test with a Different Document
- Try printing a different color document to see if the issue persists. Sometimes the problem can be with the specific file.
Step 8: Factory Reset the Printer
- As a last resort, you can reset the printer to factory settings. Refer to the user manual for the specific steps for your model.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
