howdy ya'll , i got a 7602r stuck in a verifying loop , i have tried the power cycle stuff and the extracted firmware to usb trick too , so far nothing, hp eterpriseDU does not recognize the printer and device manager is calling it a firmware device .  any advice would be appreciated

Hi,

When you tried the USB trick with the extracted firmware, it was a USB of 8 GB or smaller ?

 

1. You may need to check that is a USB drive equal or smaller than 8GB,

because the printer USB frontal port is very basic.

 

2. Probably you could try to use another empty USB flash drive

and verify size is equal or less than 8GB and also verify is a FAT32 formatted USB.

 

3. Then copy the firmware file and make the same steps of Turning off,

  • put flash drive USB
  • and then Turn ON printer again.
