Hi @GFerd_724--43

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query.

I understand how frustrating it can be when your HP OfficeJet Pro 8025e remains stuck on the “Verifying” screen, especially when you need to print something urgently. Since you have already tried powering the printer off for several minutes, I recommend performing a complete power reset and checking whether the printer can complete its startup.

Please unplug the printer directly from the power outlet while it is powered on, wait about 60 seconds, reconnect it directly to a wall outlet, and turn it back on. If it remains stuck on “Verifying,” the issue may be related to the printer's firmware, network connection, or startup process.

If possible, please share a photo of the printer's display while it is stuck on “Verifying”. This can help identify the exact screen and determine the appropriate next step.

Take care and have an amazing day!

I'm an HP Employee.

...Or...or I could just press the "X" on the bottom of the LCD Display on the printer...Which worked...
