I am setting up my printer to scan but am being asked for a password - what is it please? There is noting I can see on the back of the printer or inside it

Hi,

Thanks for using the HP Support Community.

 

The Password or PIN is the printer PIN.

 

The Printer PIN can be found ona  Label when the cartridge access door is opened.
