HP App not working

Hi there!

I tried installing my new HP Envy printer 5010 and the HP APP locked on the wrong model and it now frozen and I can't connect my printer. I have tried de-installing and re-installing but it keeps locking on to that original wrong model when opening.

Any ideas?

You can try to remove and add the HP app. Follow the steps below:

1.) Open Finder and click Applications

2.) Move HP App to Trash and clear the Trash.

3.) Open Finder then click Go and Click Home.

4.) Click View then Click Show View Options. Check the box Show Library Folder.

The change is instantaneous and the Library folder will immediately become visible.

5.) Open Library and Open Application Support, move the HP App folder to Trash and clear the Trash.

Now, refer to the document HP Printers - Install and Use the HP App (Mac) to configure the printer.
