Hello,

 

Can someone please point me to the HP basic driver download for Windows 7 that's compatible with HP Envy 6555e?

 

I can't get the computer to select the printer using the firmware update install package on the product's download page.

Hi,

Thanks for using the HP Support Community.

Can you download and install the HP FULL Solution Software for your operating system:
https://support.hp.com/nz-en/drivers/swdetails/hp-envy-6500e-all-in-one-printer-series/model/2102048...

Once you have downloaded and installed the FULL feature software, you will be able to print and scan.

I will try this out and get back to you, but when I attempted to do this initially it wouldn't allow me to select the printer during setup.
