I got an error from the printer on cartridges so I went ahead and bought a brand new set of all colors and black cartridges. I installed the new cartridges today but the printer is throwing an error saying cartridges are missing. I just spend over $350 to get the new ink cartridges and this is extremely frustrating, Hi Irwin, I tried your steps but don't seem to solve the problem. Kindly help!!

please ensure any packing material been removed from the cartridges and check if that makes any difference:

If the issue persists, are these genuine HP or replacement toner cartridges? please be sure to clarify the exact cartridges numbers as listed on its label.
