Product: HP Color LaserJet Pro MFP M479dw

Scanning to e-mail gives failure message as "Inappropriate user name or password. Check validity of user account and password."

Microsoft issued a warning letter saying from 16th of September 2024 they stop support of such mailing to Microsoft Outlook e-mail adresses where only user name and password used for authentication and not the modern Microsoft authentication method.

I assume this failure is in relation with this Microsoft change but I do not know how to ammend the setting on my printer to adopt it to this Microsoft modern authentication.

I need urgent help on this matter.
