My MFP M277c6 printer is stuck initializing. It seemed fine then went offline when my modem died & now won't complete its startup after I replaced the modem.
What I've tried so far:
**The "finger on the screen" method (power down, power up, press & hold lower right part of display when the energy logo appears & release when "permanent storage init" appears);
**Unplug-replug (unplug when printer is on, disconnect all cables, wait a few minutes, hold power button on 30 sec., plug cord into wall then into printer)
**Unlug-replug as above with toner cartridges removed; first by itself then again using finger-on-screen method.
No luck. Thoughts? Thanks!

@RealFla, Welcome to the HP Support Community! I’m here to help.
I see that the printer is stuck on the initialization screen. I appreciate your efforts in trying to resolve this issue by performing the necessary troubleshooting steps.
You have also tried the NVRAM reset which is the last resort that did not help in this case.
As the issue persists, I'm afraid this is a hardware failure
