Hi there, im having a trouble printing wirelessly to our HP Color LaserJet M277dw. It was working fine, then suddenly, i cant print wirelessly, it seems that its not connected to a network.
here are the troubleshooting i did:
1. Tried Printing using 2 different Computer- 1 laptop (windows10 32bit) and 1 desktop (64bit)
2. Tried to powercycle - 2 mins off - still not working
3. unplugged and replaced ethernet cable - not working
4. tried to plug the ethernet cable to a diff. working ethernet port - still not working
note: i know that our internet isnt the problem because other devices works perfectly fine thru ethernet and wireless, its just the printer
i also performed diagnostic test it shows:

Welcome to the HP Support Community!
- Make sure the printer and the computer are connected to the same wireless network.
- Disconnect any Ethernet cable connected to the printer.
Step 1: Restore network settings
On the printer screen, Go to Setup > Network setup > Restore Defaults
Step 2: Connect the printer to the network
-
On the printer control panel, touch the Connection Information icon (the icon might appear as Wired
or Wireless
depending on your current setup), and then touch Wireless Menu.
-
Touch Wireless Setup Wizard.
The printer searches for available wireless networks.
-
Touch the name of your network, and then follow the instructions on the control panel to connect the printer to your wireless network.
Step 3: Obtain the IP address of the printer by tapping the Wireless icon
Type in the IP address on a web browser on your computer and check if it redirects you to the EWS page of the printer.
Step 4: Try to print.
If there is no HP Full Featured driver installed, continue to next step
Step 5: Clean uninstallation of Pre-installed HP drivers
- In Windows, search for and open Programs and features
- Select your HP Printer
- Select Uninstall
- In Windows, search for and open Devices and printers
- In the Devices and Printers windows look for your HP printer. If you see it listed right-click on it and choose ‘Delete’ or ‘Remove Device’
- Open up the run command with the “Windows key + R” key combo.
- Type printui.exe /s and click Ok. (Note: there is a space in between “printui.exe” and “/s”)
- Click on the “Drivers” tab
- Look for HP Printer driver. If you see it Click on it and click Remove at the bottom
- Select Ok
- Select Apply and Ok on the Print Server Properties windows
- Close Devices and Printers, restart the computer.
Step 6: Click here to download HP Full-featured driver.
Once downloaded, make sure to run the file to start the installation and follow the on-screen instructions.
