Nothing prints any more. It just disappears into a black hole.
I have been having intermittent problems with Windows 10 2004, so I updated it to Windows 10 22H2 and installed the newest drivers for my DJ2130 printer (40.15.1230) and even tried the HP Smart app.
From the HP Printer assistant, it will connect to the printer, and the scanning works fine. I can print the Diagnostics Page, Clean the Printer, align the Cartridges, get the serial number, etc.
But nothing prints. The Windows Printer Test page appears briefly in the print queue and is gone. Word documents from Microsoft 365 preview correctly, and are sent to the print queue (yes, it is working) and then vanish. The light don the printer doesn't flash to say it is receiving data. The data just vanishes.
I have tried everything the HP Virtual Assistant has suggested, including removing all trace of the drivers and installing again.
What to try now? The ink cartridges are fairly new, and are original HP ones. Neither are less than half full.
