HP-DQEX5.exe stops installing Officejet 5230

The installation of the Officejet 5230 stops because the HP-DQEX5.exe  error!

Thought first that the download was buggy, but Installation CD shows the same result.

Could I get help to install this Officejt on my old stand alone PC with Windows XP SP3.

The PC is not connected to a Network.

I do not see Windows XP drivers available for your particular printer model

May I know from where did you download the printer drivers?

Was the printer working before with your Windows XP PC or is it the first time you are trying to install the driver?

The driver I downloaded from HP support page, stopped in first installation.

Then I bought the CD from HP and result the same!

I do not believe your statement. thank

The Windows XP drivers are not available on the Website. It's only the Firmware that is available

If you have purchase the CD from HP, I suggest you contact our phone support for further assistance

1) Click on this link - www.hp.com/contacthp/ 
2) Select your product type below.
3) Enter the serial of your device. 
4) Select the country from the drop-down. 
5) Select the chat or get phone number options based on your preferences. 
6) Fill the web-form and proceed further.
