Hi,
After following the instructions on the HP easy start driver, it seems that no suitable software for my macbook to download, and there is also a problem that this printer doesn't print any pages, I click print then the file disappear in the printer queue immediately.
Then, I followed this step by step, (Printer does not print from MacBook Air ), in the step 4.6, it says that 'Select the name of your printer (if available) or AirPrint.' but neither airprint nor my own printer's name is on there.
hope you can help me,
kind regards,
mengyuan

Thank you for being a part of HP Forums. This is a great place to get support, find answers and tips to your technical queries.
I believe the printer driver is not displayed because there are no compatible print drivers installed on your PC. AirPrint driver will only be displayed if the printer is wirelessly connected and compatible with AirPrint, Unfortunately HP Deskjet 2132 is not wireless capable or AirPrint compatible. Not to worry, let's try adding an alternate print driver using Apple Software Update, here is how to do it:
1.) Connect the printer to PC using a USB cable.
2.) Download and install HP Printer Drivers v5.1 for OS X from here.
3.) Click the Apple menu, then click System Preferences.
4.) Depending on your operating system version, click Print & Fax, Print & Scan, or Printers & Scanners.
5.) If your printer is listed, click the printer name, click the minus sign to delete the printer.
6.) Click the plus sign , click Add Printer or Scanner.
7.) Select the listed Deskjet printer.
8.) Click the drop-down menu next to Use or Print Using and click on Select Printer Software.
9.) Select the HP Deskjet 2510 series.
10.) Click OK to confirm your selection and add the printer, then try printing using the configured print queue.
Let me know how it goes!

You are welcome 🙂
HP Easy scan application should help you scan documents and pictures, HP Easy Scan is designed specifically for use with your HP scanner or multifunction printer. You may download HP Easy scan from here.

That's unfortunate, let's try to scan using Image Capture:
1.) Open Finder.
2.) Click Applications and open Image Capture.
3.) Try to scan.
Keep me posted!

You are very welcome!
I believe its because of the alternate driver that it's not able to detect the scanner, we could try adding a different driver. Remove the exiting driver buy going to System Preferences>Printers&Scanners, once the driver is removed, use the steps I suggested in my first post and add HP Deskjet 2130 series driver.

Could you try adding the Deskjet 3050A J611 series driver. Once you add the driver, restart the PC and printer, the try scanning a document.
