HP DeskJet 2600
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I've got a DeskJet 2600 series printer and lost EWS password. I've already tried what was on this post https://h30434.www3.hp.com/t5/Printer-Software-and-Drivers/HP-DeskJet-2600-EWS-password-reset/td-p/6... but it didn't work. The printer still ask's for the password that i can't remember. 😕

Welcome to the HP Community

Let's restore network settings to default settings

● Press and hold the Wireless button and the Cancel button from the printer control panel together for three seconds.

Connect the printer back to the network.

Try accessing the EWS page.

Keep me posted, how it goes!

If the information I've provided was helpful, give us some reinforcement by clicking the Accepted Solution and Kudos buttons, that'll help us and others see that we've got the answers!

Have a great day!

Cheers:)

Hey @Raj1788

Like i mentioned in the post, I already followed the same steps written on the post i linked which had the same problem as me.

But anyway it doesn't matter now. I took the printer back to the shop where i bought it as it was still in the warranty period and let the guys there handle the problem.

Anyway thanks for the reply. I appreciate it.
