I have just bought the printer and I ran all installing routines from 123.hp.com.
The printer is connected to my laptop HP ENVY - 13-ah1015no. I have not (yet) installed the wifi connection as my printer stays next to the laptop.
Sometimes when I am printing documents the printer juts stays with the power on/off lamp blinking. No document is printed.
Also when the last paper was printed and the tray was empty. The Resume button/lamp was not blinking.
I had to restart the laptop in order to fix this problem. Should not be needed.
Tips on how to solve this issue, please.

@SivrosJ, Welcome to the HP Support Community!
Make sure the USB cable you are using is no longer than 3 meters.
Check if the cable is firmly connected on both the ends. Use of a USB hub is not recommended.
Try connecting the USB cable to a different port on your PC.
Update the printer firmware
Click here to download and install the latest firmware from your computer.
Click here to know different methods of updating printer firmware.
Run HP Print and Scan doctor.
Click here to download. Once downloaded run the file and click on Fix printing.
Let me know how this goes.
