I've forgotten the password set to my DeskJet printer. After reading several docs, I've reset EWS to factory default by pressing X button and WiFi button at the same time until it blinks. Now it does not connect to my WiFi (because it needs a password, according to the USB setup steps). HP Smart on my Android, the same (cannot configure the WiFi, and the process aborts).
Is any way to *really* factory reset the printer? Versions running:
HP HTTP Server; HP DeskJet 2600 series - V1N02A;
Built:Thu Jun 06, 2019 05:17:47AM {edit}
Thanks in advance!

I've fixed it by myself. I sent a factory reset snmp command and voilà.
snmpset -v 1 -c public 192.168.223.1 1.3.6.1.2.1.43.5.1.1.3.1 i 6
Power stood blinking. I unplugged the power cords, plugged again and the printer was *really* reset to factory defaults. I went through the setup process without any password request.

Additional information: https://123-hp-com.com/hp-deskjet-2600-password/ step #9 ("Open the Password icon on the computer screen") option does not exists.

Current firmware version is THP1FN1923AR
Impossible to downgrade. It seems that in an effort to make it super secure, it resulted not functional at all. I tried to get firmware version 1518 (perhaps the previous one, before CVEs) but cannot download it from anywhere. Any clues?

To complete information: in order to get connected to the printer to send SNMP set commands, you can reset the printer's network ("Network" + "Cancel" buttons ~5 secs). After blinking a while, you will see a wireless network with the name of your printer (and some additional garbage). Connect such WiFi, you'll get a 192.168.223.x/24 IP address. Your printer should be 192.168.223.1, then you will be able to send the SNMP set command.
Good luck. HP sucks.
