Hi i just bought the HP Deskjet 2720 printer, i try to download the app but it says error. I tried signing ou/signing in, i jumped from opera to chrome (opera is what i use), still no solution, always says error. 

Any ideas?

I'd like to help!

 

Try the below suggestions-

 

1)Uninstall HP Smart 

 

2)Install all the available Windows updates

If it is been a while since you updated your Windows, that is the main reason why Windows says your HP printer driver is unavailable. Here are the steps how to do a Windows Update to install all accessible operating system update.

 

If you are accessing Windows 10, then these steps are for you.

  1. Hit the Start menu and write an update. After that, click on the “Check for updates” option.
  2. Tap on the “Check for updates” option.
  3. After clicking on that option, Windows will install the updates automatically.
  4. When Windows completes all its updates, start your computer again and attempt to print a file to check if your printer works.

3) try updating the printer's firmware - HP Printers - Updating or Upgrading Printer Firmware 

 

4)Reinstall HP Smart

 

If the issue persists, install HP Easy Start(Software -Utility)

Hello Jay,

 

First of all thank you for your time. Well, i think this is my problem, i can't update. I tried many things, also in safe mode, i don't know if i did it right or not, the point is my laptop refuses to update, so i guess there is no reason to try to install the Smart app, which, actually, was unable to download it, not to install it. 

Anyway, i try to fix this problem, although i don't know what else can i do.

Hi Jay, well, i just connected my mobile phone with the printer, works fine, i just don't work with my mobile phone so not a progress for me. I still try to figure out how can i update my laptop.
