HP DeskJet Ink Advantage 2776 All-in-One Printer
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

This is regarding my HP printer HP Deskjet Ink Advantage 2776.

The printer fails to recognize A4 size paper. It always prints in 5x7.

If I try to make a copy it will print in 5x7 size

I have already tried the following things:

Reset the printer – From the interface (Factory Reset)

Reset the printer – From the interface (Erase HP)

Reset the printer – By pressing cancel and wifi button

Reset the printer – By pressing the power and cancel button

Trying to use the printer without wifi – with USB

Make a test print, Make a copy, Make a regular print. (Test print it will not work, copy and regular print it will print in 5x7 size)

Copying a document – just after reset (without installation)

Copying a document – after installation

Installing the printer via Smart APP

Installing the printer via IP

Installing the printer via Windows

Changing the document size in the Tray and Paper settings from interface. I tried all the possible paper sizes A4, Letter, Legal

Changing the document size from the windows printer settings. I tried all the possible paper sizes, A4, Letter, Legal.

Changing the default document size from the windows printer settings. I tried all the possible paper sizes, A4, Letter, Legal.

I even tried adding a custom page size

Updating the firmware

Printing via hpeprint (email)

I also tried installing PCL6, PostScript and PCL3 drivers

I tried all the print quality types available, i.e Draft, Better, Best

Removing the papers from tray, keeping the printer disconnected from power for long time

Adjusting the paper width guides so they gently rest against the edge of the paper stack

Changing the paper type from plain to glossy to photo paper, all the options that were available

If I change the paper size from A4 to any other size in Tray and Paper settings, It will not print.

If I try to change the paper size from any of the other settings i.e. windows printer settings, It will not print

After a fresh reset, the printer will print, but only in 5x7 size.

If I try to make a copy it will print in 5x7 size.

Interestingly when I try to print a test print page it will not print at all, instead it will give E0 paper size mismatch error.

Logically, if a printer reset to factory. Before installing the printer if we plug-in and try to make a copy.  It should at-least it should be able to make a copy with the correct paper size. Unfortunately its not happening.

I tried from my Windows 10 computer. I also tried from an Android phone as well as iPhone.

I am out of options that I can try.

Can someone please help
