Hey, my printer doesn't work. When I connect the power cable, the button blinks a few times and sometimes it will turn on but it will freeze before I'm able to do anything like get to the factory reset option in the app. It freezes and all the lights will shut off but the screen will be frozen on whatever it was showing when it shut off. That's when my PC loses connection so therefore I can't possibly connect it to Wi-Fi in time or reset it

I understand your HP DeskJet 2755e printer is experiencing some technical difficulties. Here are a few steps you can try to troubleshoot the issue:

 

  • Power Cycle: Unplug the power cable from the printer and wait for about a minute. Then plug it back in and try turning on the printer again. Sometimes, a simple power cycle can resolve temporary issues.
  • Check Connections: Ensure that all cables, including the power cable and any USB or Ethernet cables, are securely connected to the printer and your computer.
  • Reset Printer: If the printer has a reset button, try pressing it to reset the printer to its factory settings.
  • Update Firmware: Visit the HP website and check if there are any firmware updates available for your printer model. Updating the firmware can sometimes resolve software-related issues Update the firmware on an HP printer
